A guided installer and a few commands. Runs on a clean Ubuntu 24.04 LTS VPS.
apexquant.tech and get.apexquant.tech. We never distribute ApexQuant through
other sites, app stores, or download mirrors. Always verify the SHA-256 checksum below before running.
Domain, FRED macro key, Cloudflare Turnstile, and AI Commentary keys are all optional — add them later via the helper scripts once you’ve seen it run on testnet.
Sign up for these services first. You can add the optional ones during the guided setup wizard, or later via apexquant --config-gui.
https://VPS_IP:5005 with browser cert warning.apexquant --config-gui.apexquant --config-gui.Have your license key (AQP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)? Paste during install. Don't have one yet? Skip — bot runs in 30-day trial mode (paper/testnet). Buy from pricing when ready, then enter it in the setup wizard, or later via apexquant --config-gui.
Both paths produce an identical install. Pick whichever suits you.
On a clean Ubuntu 24.04 LTS VPS, as root:
curl -fsSL https://get.apexquant.tech | sudo bash
Downloads the latest signed release, verifies its SHA-256 checksum and minisign signature, then installs everything unattended (Python 3.12, dependencies, nginx, systemd auto-start, firewall). Prints your dashboard URL, login password + PIN, and setup token at the end. Skip to Step 4 when it finishes.
Download the bootstrap script, review it, then run it. Produces an identical install.
curl -fsSL https://get.apexquant.tech -o aq-install.sh
# Verify the bootstrap SHA-256 against the published hash below
less aq-install.sh # inspect what it does
sudo bash aq-install.sh
Verify the bootstrap script before running:
Bootstrap SHA-256 (get.apexquant.tech) — update on every bootstrap changeVisit apexquant.tech/download and complete the challenge to download the latest ApexQuant zip.
Verify the download integrity before uploading:
sha256sum -c ApexQuant-Setup.zip.sha256
minisign -Vm ApexQuant-Setup.zip -P RWRHtMOGHSz0oywqtMdW5cQkw2UE1llujBPPnUFkW1RGaz9qRFZHZKSj
From your local machine:
scp ApexQuant-Setup.zip root@YOUR_VPS_IP:/root/
SSH into your VPS, then:
cd /root
unzip ApexQuant-Setup.zip
cd ApexQuant
chmod +x install.sh
bash install.sh
The installer sets up Python 3.12, all dependencies, nginx with a self-signed certificate, and systemd auto-start. It prints a setup token at the end — keep it handy for the next step.
Whichever install you chose, continue with the setup below.
Once the installer finishes, run:
apexquant --setup-gui
Authenticate with the printed setup token. The wizard walks you through: license key (optional, skip for 30-day trial), Binance keys (validated; shows the VPS IP to whitelist; starts in PAPER mode) and the currency your account trades in (USDT or USDC), Telegram alerts (optional), FRED and Turnstile keys (optional), and your own dashboard password. Optionally configure a custom domain with a free SSL certificate. Click Finish — it saves everything, restarts the bot, and self-destructs. Change settings later with apexquant --config-gui.
Self-install: you create your own Binance sub-account and API keys — we never handle your credentials.
Done-With-You Setup: we guide you through deploying to your VPS; you add your own keys in the wizard.
With domain: https://your-domain.com
Without domain: https://YOUR_VPS_IP (accept the one-time browser certificate warning — it's your own server)
Login: enter the dashboard password you set during install. Then enter your PIN when prompted.
Password and PIN were set during the installer's security prompts. To reset them: run apexquant --config-gui (or re-run apexquant --setup-gui) and use the credentials step — the dashboard stores your password and PIN as hashes, so editing .env alone will not change them.
TRADING_MODE in Settings.
In Settings → Capital, choose whether ApexQuant trades with all the available cash in your account's currency (default) or a fixed amount you set. The rest stays untouched. This bounds new positions only — it never force-sells existing ones.
Once you’re comfortable with testnet results, switching to live trading takes one setting change. Before you do:
